you can see how the mechanism folds flat, and a bit of how it's constructed. Is that a feature you want/need - folding flat? The machine doesn't really lower and rise, but the piece of wood it's sitting on can be adjusted - it almost looks like a variation of the ....(&#$(&#$ brain not working....like the old beach lounge chairs, how they you would rachet the back up or down depending on how you wanted to sit. Horrible explanation but I can't for the life of me think of what it's called. I'm sure there is something in your local hardware store to duplicate that. This would allow the machine to be level with the table top without having to build a huge contraption underneath. I actually think I might look into that - it's a really inexpensive solution - you just have to be willing to make the whole in the table/desk top. |
