Well, the posting last week, and much thinking, I did buy the Janome 6600! Everything is still in boxes, as I am making myself repaint the sewing room before I set it up. I still don;t know what the little opening on the throat plate is. My dealer says it may be for additional equipment. I'm excited, and will keep you posted on the performance. What ya mean opening on the throat plate? Can you take a pic? I would be interested if this is something new or what as I have the 6600P and am not sure what you are talking about.

You will love your machine. It can handle anthing IMHO.

I must have missed something. Your dealer says the opening MAY ? be for additional equipment. He should KNOW what it is. Aside from that it sounds like you are going to be very happy with your machine. Congrats.
