I think it looks great with the light....not the dark. Once you get your borders on there and get it quilted and bound it will be done. And DONE is always PERFECT because it is getting another project finished! It really does look good and you are doing a great job!
For myself, I have to remember that every project I create will not always be the greatest most fantastic masterpiece. But, I really do enjoy the process and learn from each project.

I like the dark... I think it gives it more contrast.

I like it with the lighter fabric. the red, not so much

I like the colors in your quilt.

Unfortunately it happens to all of us at some point. Put it aside and when you go back to it if you still don't like it then do a little bit of work on it and put it aside again until it is done.

Because of the dark brown blocks I think the darker looks better.

I am also having that problem at the moment. So I decided to put it aside for 2 WEEKS Then pick it up again and I have ripped out and done parts over. I will finish it and then give it away to someplace, I am so selfish in giving away quilts to strangers that I don't think are nice and yet the receiver of a not liked quilt by me, gets loved by them. So just finish it like I am going to do. -- J

Personally, I like it!!!!! Perhaps borders are the answer.

I have several UFO 's or PHD's. Our guild has a PHD (project half done) certificate program. You sign up at the beginning of the year all your PHDs then as you finish them you get a ticket for a drawing at the end of the year. You also get a PHD certificate for each one completed. Now to your quilt, I like the yellow setting triangles and would probably put a the pink print or the green as the border.

I love the light one!

I just love it. The lighter one caught my eye. The darker seems to pull my eyes towards it instead of the overall quilt.
I too get tired of something I am working on. I walk away for a few days and then go back

I like the second one. The red seems to calm the dark color.
