I really like your quilt top, and I like the dark fabric with it, I think that it looks really good. Keep going.

Oh ( love them both. You could leave them both on -the light & the dark look great. It looks balanced too!

Every project is like that for me. I put it away for awhile and eventually a light bulb goes off. Just give it a rest, maybe?
I like the light color best; I think the darker color doesn't quit go but that's me.
Good luck.

Bright & pretty ... I love color! You've received some very good advise here ... put it aside and work on something else for a while. When you get it back out, if you still don't love it, finish it anyway and donate it to a women's shelter or children's home. It WILL be loved!

I don't know what about it bothers you, but it is the olive green that hits my eye first. I think it takes away from the whole concept you are tryinhg to make. Why not substitute that green for a color in the printeed fabric?

OH, I really liek it. The colors look so good together. If you need to take a break, do it. BUT, be sure to come back to it. It is a real eye catcher.

I like it with the lighter fabric, and I think it is very pretty, keep going.

That quilt is pretty! I think your addition of the pink would be better used as a narrow border rather than in the set-in triangles. It's also a wee bit too intense for the quilt.
I make the majority of my quilts for charity, and I can positively guarantee that some child is gonna just LOVE your quilt!

Actually, I think it is really pretty. Maybe just put it aside, and when the need for a gift quilt comes up (and it will!) pull it out and finish it and give it away. It reminds me of feminine colors that would be used in a prayer quilt. Or, since it has a lot of pink it might also be a very nice donation to a hospital chemo ward.

BTW, welcome to the quilter's world of Unfinished Objects (UFOS), Projects in Grocery Sacks (PIGS), and Works in Progress (WIPS). I have several!
