First of all yes most quilters have suffered the same dilemma you speak of. What I see as the problem is not enough contrast in your quilt. Too many fabrics of the same value. That being said I think your being hard on yourself. It's really not that bad. Like others have suggested take a break from it and go back to it.

You bet I did and do have. I put it away for a while and keep my eyes on this board and before you know it an idea comes to me. I had one that took me well over a year to finish, but it was worth it.
I like the first picture. As I was looking at your pictures: What if you finished the first one in the first pic and make a board with the dark pink about 3 to 4 inches?
Just a thought, but you definitely have a lot of good comments and advise from this board, so good luck because something will come to your liking.

I personally really like it myself, you can send it to me if you wish?! :D

This is just what I was going to suggest.

I like the light the best. I think it's a pretty quilt. I like it & you should finish it. If you still don't like it donate it .

I like the first one. I think if you don't like the quilt yourself go ahead and finish it and donate it to a foundation or cause that needs them.

I agree. What you have already looks great. You will build your confidence as you create more projects so continue on and have fun. I have learned not to feel guilty about not finishing everything I start. I put things away for awhile and many times as I am looking for something to start, I come across a UFO and I find a new use for it. I don't even mind taking it apart and starting something different. :)

I agree. Put it off to the side for awhile and start the next one. When I did my first quilt, I finished it before starting another. The second one came along and then sat for three years while I made over 50 other projects!
