I've had great luck with Fabric.com.

I have had good luck. Never a problem for over 10 years

I'm sorry that you had this problem I have ordered on internet through the years with out ever having problems. Should be able to return where did you order from so many of us may avoid same problem?

Dolphyngyrl 08-26-2011 03:44 AM

yes but when you haven't seen the fabric in person, you are taking that chance. I just used mine for another project

I've been happy with my online purchases (so far) I would not order from the site that I wasn't happy with. I get a lot from Paducah and also Connecting threads.

Equilter.com has a color-finding feature.

I have had good luck with whatever I have ordered online. only once disappointed in the color, but used it anyway - was a batik with multiple shades in it, and had darker spots than what was pictured was for the backing of a quilt and it didn;t make any difference.

I'm sorry you were disappointed. I had the same problem but the fabric was so inexpensive I just added it to my stash.

The great many deals and special finds I have found online have far outwayed the mishaps.

I agree with this completely - don't let one experience put you off! C9P

I always worry about online fabric and usually don't get one that has to be a perfect match because my monitor doesn't show it's true color.
