Hi there

I was using hearing protectors! They are yellow in color, and come 4 to a package. I got those at Home Depot too! I cannot for the life of me remember what I paid for them, however if your husband, son, daughter or friend works for a place that makes loud noises, these ear protectors are generally available to them. I'm not suggesting that you ask them to steal for you, however if a few fall your way every now and again, keep them!

However your idea looks simple enough and looks like a great idea!

Great tip, as much as I would love to buy Pin moors I just can't justify them in our extremely tight budget right now. This will work great for now-thanks for sharing the tip.

What a great idea! I've wanted to buy the pinmores but just don't have the $ to spend right now. Thanks

Thank You. I am going to get my hubby right on this. He goes to Home Depot almost everyday.

clever lady I'm sending the old man to the store now and then he can cut them up for me and keep busy for a while. Win, win.

What is the purpose of Pinmoors? I am new to this and am just curious. Thanks.

What pins do you all use with your "Pinmoors"? I used the flower top, but found that they are too thin and bend easily and one top has come off, too. I just got some button top heat resistant ones, but they are thick and not as sharp...hard to push through the fabric. Does anyone know how to sharpen pins, without a "strawberry"?

Thanks for the great idea - I was seriously thinking about buying some pinmoors but have delayed because of the cost. Going to Home Depot now!!
