I think it's in very bad taste to put one's logo on panels where the customer basically cannot cut it off, such as on those animal panels. I would never purchase fabric where the logo would be visible on the final product. In fact, I think it's arrogant & pushy for any clothing or shoe manufacturer to put its logo in plain sight.

The photos are so beautiful I wouldn't do anything to deface them and they definitely will not bother the recipient of the quilt. Where did the photos come from? I have a hunter in my family that would love them.

Personally I don't wish to pay for fabric that advertises itself - they should pay us for getting it. ha ha ha.....

Some might think of wearing logos as "status symbols"...Not me...I think of it as free advertising. Why dont they pay us then? lol

I would prefer not to have it there, but my hunting DH and sons would be fine with it, and that's who would be using the quilt, soo.....

Having that logo there would keep me from buying that panel. I don't like seeing logo's everywhere. Why should I do their advertising

That is one gorgeous panel. Where did you get it? I would love one. The name doesn't bother me, but I agree, why do we have to advertise when we bought it and it is ours.

I'd be tempted to cut it off, then use it in a crumb quilt later maybe. I agree I would cut it off. They aren't subsidizing my charity quilts so why should I advertise their products. |
