I have had my Sweet Sixteen for a little over a year now and I love it. I don't get to use it as much as I wish but I have never regretted the purchase. I also have problems with my neck and shoulders and this is so much easier than the domestic machine. Have fun!

I tried out a Handi Quilting machine last Saturday and really liked it. I want one of the stand up versions. It was fun to use.

I have had my Handi Quilter Sweet Sixteen for a few months now and am getting pretty good with it! Oh my, what a difference from trying to shove a quilt through on my DSM.
I bought the left hand extension table and think I am getting the right hand also. There is a lot of space beneath them for a pile of of junk (er, nice organized things, that is!). And the right hand will extend over the kitty litter box nicely! The machine cost me about $5000 including tax and freight. When I read on here that high end sewing machines are going for way higher than that, it looks like a good bargain all the way around. |

I just got my Sweetsixteen yesterday and got it all setup and going in an afternoon. so far I love it. Have tried this machine at shows and at a local dealer and they are like a dream. enjoy yours as I know I will mine.

I got mine about a year and a half ago. Learning on my own. I absolutely love it. I can meander pretty good. I'm now trying to learn feathers. It just takes time. I saw a dealer at the quilt show and she helped me to figure out how to do the tension. That has been my worse problem. Also, I noticed the new bobbin winders are much better than mine. I just use my dining chairs on either side. I'm glad you got the side tables. I also think (at this point in my learning) that the stitch regulator would give me more trouble trying to keep the quilt and the stitch regulator in place. I'm not that coordinated. Lol. Happy for you. Enjoy

I wish I had gotten into all this when I was younger.... I have to send my quilts out to be quilted but I love to see the beautiful work shown here. MIMI

Congrats! I got a Tiara which is made for Babylock by HQ and is identical to the Sweet Sixteen. I love mine. I quilt for a group that makes charity quilts and have already quilted over 60 lap and twin size quilts. I stipple on the charity quilts and once you get the hang of it, it is fast and quite pretty. Hang in there and practice, practice, practice. Have fun, too.
