I used this fabric for a baby quilt and really had no problems with it I found it at Joann's Not sure if then have it without the sparkle. I think it looks nice with yours

I've been able to remove either glitter or gold etching (can't remember) from fabric by wiping it with a cotton ball soaked in acetone. Do it outside since the stuff is flammable. Try it on a small piece if you are still not sure you will like it as is.

Do they make this fabric without the sparkles - I really dont like the texture of this fabric.

If not I am open to suggestions for this dresdan.

Did you purchase them at the same place? The butterflys are super and I bet you will be happy with it when the quilt is finished. Please show pictures, whatever you decide. BrendaK

The sparkle fabric with the fussy cut butterfly really makes the Dresdan Plate pattern "pop". I love it!

pjnesler 07-08-2011 01:25 PM

I like it, I think if you made it up this way it woud be very nice!

I agree with mmonohon -use some sparkly threads. I really like how the colors match.
