Cheryl, have you tried washing the fabric and see if the stiffening lessens after the wash? I have purchased all of these fabrics at Wal-Mart a couple of years ago, the ones in the Dresden plate and the butterfly material. When I washed the material, it softened up a little. I love the match you have made. Good luck and post it after you finish. Looking forward to seeing it.

I love it. I had a FQ of those sparkly butterflies and made a small purse for a little girl. I never thought of dresden plates with that as a center. It's beautiful.

I think it is very pretty and I like the fabric with the sparkles. Just beautiful :-D

I have used the butterfly material, and did not have any problems with it. I think that would go very nicely together.

I am not much for the sparkles normally, but that looks great together!!

Have you tried washing the sparkly fabric?
