When ever I want to bless someone with a quilt or what ever, I get opposition...that just makes me more determined to finish the project no matter how hard or long it may take. Hang in there and don't give up! You can do it!

Still no good news about mine, I'm afraid. I started the 3rd block yesterday. First section was fine so I went to the 2nd, finished it, trimmed it, turned it over - and realised I'd missed one of the pieces. Just walked away at that point. This is getting positively spooky - I've never done anything that seemed to be so doomed! I'm away for the next few days, so I'll try again at the end of the week and see if the hex has lifted :roll:

There are some projects that just don't want to be done. Fight with them for a while if you must, but they always win. I know because I have a closet full of them.

I remember a speaker at quilt guild telling us that when something just doesn't work, put it in a box, put a name of one of your unfavorite relatives on the box, and put that box away in a closet. Makes you feel real good knowing that someday they are going to receive this box, thinking that you remembered them. You get the last laugh knowing what you have really given to them.
