I share my sewing room with my granddaughter (who lives in the flat above me). She is into art and so we call the room the Craft Room. It is also a spare room as it has a bed for visitors.

My DH calls it the "Snake Pit"..I tried to tell him it is my "studio", but he insists on snake pit because of its messiness.

My parents lived in this house 18 years ago. Mom called it the den. It originally was. DH calls it my craft room. Mom lives with me now and for some reason gets upset if it is called anything other than the den. I think of it as my sewing room.

I refer to it as my "Woman Cave" to others but at home I just going to my room, lol. But it is My Womans Cave, lol....we women need one just as much as the men need a man cave

I called my "my studio" until I got a second room for weaving. Now I have a "sewing studio" and a "weaving studio".

HI I don't have a real room just a shot wall in a hall way but it works . and table there also my suggestions n a name?

I call mine "my nook". Our bedroom was large enough that I put up a large Ikea bookshelf to divide the space. I have 4' x 11' on the sewing side + the 8" of bookshelf space. I use the other 8" for my book collection on the bedroom side.

Now I just have to convince my husband that my large design wall can overflow to the other side of our bedroom.
