Do you have a name for your sewing room?
 

I know others name their sewing machines but it just occurred to me when I got an email from a friend, that maybe others have named their sewing rooms. She calls hers "The Dungeon". Not really appropriate as, even though it's in the basement, it's a daylight basement with lots of light. Mine is referred to as "The Fortress of Solitude". Not that I don't let anyone in there, just my place to go, like Superman, when I need to reboot.

My sewing room is called my "she cave"...

I have a sign on my sewing room door," Maw's play house".

No not really, i call it the woman cave to hubby. But in my mind its my studio.

I've always called mine "my lair". A friend told me that since I have a dedicated room for my quilting & sewing I should call it my studio. I still like calling it my lair though!

My bedroom. For the time being. Once my downstairs apartment is vacated I will get the living space as mine and Lulus and df will bring my washer and dryer upstairs so he can have the man cave.

Mine's called the dining room.

I call mine my sewing room. I only let my black cat in there, others are banned.

Mine is the 'mom cave' and I even have a sign on the door my daughter made for me! (it's her old bedroom)

No name for it, but I do have a sign on the door that says not to disturb the sorceress within, lest the dragon be released to wreak havoc on the world.

I should call it the money pit for obvious reasons

The Vulcan (other half) calls it the factory since I also papercraft. The cat thinks its the ideal place to shed all her fluff on the chairs.

No I really don't have a name for my sewing/craft room.

I have 2 rooms one for fabric and one for sewing.

So they are called fabric room and sewing room.

The craft room, cause I do more than sew in there.

I call mine "chaos" ... and everything in it helps to keep it that way.

Well, I do have a sewing room, but my quilting really takes up more space than that, so I call my house the (Name of my town) Quilt Factory.

My sewing room is called the "creative room," because creating makes a mess. That room is truly messy!! The door stays firmly shut if we have company.

I call mine the Quilt studio... buts it really just a corner of the basement 'man cave"... I am slowly expanding to take over the room...lol

"Quilting heaven" is the name of my room , and my family know DONT touch anything unless you ask first ........that's the rule , I did hear my little grandson tell his mother "Grams" is the boss n the sewing room.

I really only name things that have the potential of coming when they are called, but I refer to my studio as...my studio. Boring, but effective. :)

Mine is usually referred to as either my studio or my sewing room. Or just "go sew".😃

Mine is "Helen's Happy Haven" because it is my hollow log to crawl into! ( Aussie slang for those times when you need a space to get away from everyone and everything!

I call mine the living room. My wife calls it my sweat shop.

I call it my sewing room....my better half refers to it as the "crap" room. Gotta love him.
