I have one and clean my machine at least daily especially if I'm using all cotton thread. I have been surprised just how much lint that thread puts out and when I notice my machine doing something it shouldnt that means extra cleaning especially if I'm embroidering

I use one and it works well. My sister had a real mess with her Jenome from not cleaning it out - she dusted top, but didn't realize how much gets down in all the mechanisms. We took her machine apart and it was like felt in there! Since then, we have made an effort to vacuum our machines out between quilts. Makes a BIG difference. I got my attachments for like $10 in the Clotilda catalog. Money well spent!

I have a "Shop Vac Hang Up Mini" (1 Gal. size) that is for my sewing room. I also bought a set of the micro attachments at a hardware store to use with them. You can find the micro attachments at a lot of stores--including Harbor Freight. It's really a good set-up to clean your machines and the computer.

air in a can can be purchased at Staples, Office Max - anyplace where computers are sold - it's very effective!

I bought the tiny tools and they work great.

I have a small battery operated vac for computer keyboards. It is not particularly powerful, but the rice was right at the Brookstone outlet and it seems powerful enough to pick up those fuzzies that seem to accumulate around the bobbin. It also stores in a drawer.

great ideas.............
