Yes....one of the itty bitty mini kits that attach to your vacuum cleaner. I also take the entire bobbin case apart on a regular schedule and clean the machine with canned air.

I use a pipe cleaner to get in the bobbin case and surroundings, a lot of lint comes out, imagine if I ddn't use it?

I have a small air tank that I keep in my sewing room and once i finish a project I blow out all the machines real good. Including the tracks on my quilting machine with it.
Does a very good job.

Blowing isn't good because it just forces the lint in deeper. And NEVER use that canned air or any blowing type on an electronic machine. I have the little vacuum attachments but they don't fit on the vacuum I have in the basement, and I find them just something else to keep track of. I use clean old makeup brushes.

I've discovered that i regularly need to disassemble the bobbin race of my Janome about once a month an clean out the lint that get's trapped in there.

I buy the can of compressed air that I use for my computers and blow out the underside and top every time I change a bobbin. It works so well and because of the small straw that comes with the can you can get in small places.

A lot of people have mentioned using compressed air to clean out their sewing machines. I use that on my longarm all the time, since the way the longarm is built the air blows any lint off into the room (where I guess I'm supposed to vacuum it up sometime - hah!) However, if you use compressed air on your DSM, make sure that the lint is really being blown out of the machine, and not further into the innards. Usually we are warned against using compressed air in a DSM for that reason.

You have given me an idea. I just purchased the shark vac and it has this itty bitty attachment which i wondered- why did they even include this the hole is too small to suck up anything. perfect! I may give it a try.

bought a kit at Harbor Freight of mini attachments that fit on my vac--have a Pfaff and was told not to use canned air on any computerized machine
