In 1986, Trudie Hughes had this pattern set on point calling it AROUND THE TWIST. Here is the front cover of the book and the queen size quilt top (folded in half) that I made from the book. I am sure it is out of print but maybe on this board or on eBay, someone has an old copy they would sell you. PM me if you need any more info on the book.

I also have the book and made a quilt and it turned out so nice and is an easy pattern to follow.

I love this pattern set on point. It is so much prettier than the traditional horizontal rows.

Wow incredible response to my request, THANK-YOU ALL so very, very much! By George I think I've got it! The illusion of the interlocking blocks is truly fascinating to me and yes, I agree the color schemes make such a difference.

Hugs to all!

Thank you so much for asking! I, too, love this look and am amazed at how different they look with the different patterns.

I think the others on here are GREAT!
