Modern...they just appeal to me more.
|
For myself I'm traditional, but when I am working for others I make what they want. The 20 somethings in my family tend to want more modern quilts. Rhats okay too.
|
I like to take traditional and flip it on it's head.

Traditional...rustic...will go out of the box with bright colors

I LOVE it all! I honestly have to say I haven't ever seen an ugly quilt. I can find the beauty in all of them. If they aren't my colors...or something I may not be attracted to...I still find beauty in it because someone worked very hard to make it...and in the process of working on them you love them.

traditional for me - although I do try and avoid anything with flying geese

I love traditional, log cabins, dresden plates, stars, and samplers are my favorite, although I don't use the 30's reproduction fabrics. I still try to broaden my horizons and have done some more modern ones, and am currently working on a bargello for my DH's sister.

All of the above. My tastes change with the flick of the wrist.

the artist in me loves everything! will try anything, applies to art of whatever type I am currently working on! Its a good thing my home is an ecclectic mix, because I wouldn't have it any other way! Hee! Hee!

I am traditional with a genuine love for samplers and 1/2 square triangle designs. Edie
