Most bacteria is gone, but things such at hepatitis lives longer. But figure it this way, by time I finish a quilt it may be years so any germs I have left are probably in an advance stage of mummification

I have to when I am knoting the thread. I try to make sure that I wash my hands before I start. I know we are supposed to eat a peck of dirt in a lifetime, but not all in one day. ;-)

If you are one who puts pins in your mouth as you sew or like me I put my needle in my mouth to hold it inbetween tacking, it isn't any differant from licking your finger. Sooooo now that I have admitted to one of my bad habits will anyone buy from me anymore??? LOL LOL

And I don't play well with thimbles so I have contributed a little blood over the years as well!! Blood sweat and tears isn't that what we are supposed to contribute?? LOL
