Moda used to have Honeybuns (1 1/2 strips) but they don't make them anymore.

I use them for sashing and log cabin blocks.

I cut them up into 1.5" squares to trade like a lunatic! Haven't made anything with them yet...just collecting. :)

Where can I see the Snake River Log Cabin pattern?

wolph33 09-02-2012 01:40 PM

2.5 or 3 inch for me.

I would use them for Log Cabin, Rail Fence, and as others said making smaller items like camera cases, wallets.

Log cabin blocks and inner borders, but no, not in jelly roll form.

We are cutting all our scraps into 1.5" bits to use in Pineapple blocks. We have Gyleen Fitzgerald's "Trash to Treasure" book and ruler.

I use 1" strips to cover the clothes line when I make fabric bowls.

Log cabin blocks (I often use 1 and 1/4" strips!)
curved log cabins
inner borders
flanges
4-patches
snowballing squares (hope to have a picture of these in use coming your way in a day or two)
string-strip pieced blocks
triple rail blocks
sashings for mis-matched size blocks
