Glide is my favorite thread. My Longarm and my Janome machines love it, and so do I. I like the strength, the lint free quality and the color selection. Unless I need a rayon thread, Glide is my go to thread.

I use Glide for piecing and FMQ. Never have problems with it. I love it.

I love Glide for quilting on my longarm but tend to use a cotton thread for piecing. Mainly because I press my seams with my iron on the hottest setting and I am afraid the Glide thread might melt.
Forgot to add: I frequently sew the binding on with the same Glide thread that I used for the quilting. It's one way to free up a bobbin for the longarm. I, also, topstitch the binding down by machine too using the Glide. I use a 1.8 for stitching all my pieces, regardless of what kind of thread I use..

I use coats and clark quilting thread and all purpose threads. Sometimes I piece with the quilting thread also.

Works great in my Juki TL98.

I use Glide for my longarm. I love the lack of lint and the sheen when I quilt with it. I have used it occasionally for piercing but prefer Aurifil for piecing. I find it too slick and after trimming blocks to size sometimes the edge comes undone. Also I have found that winding the bobbin with Glide can be tricky.

I absolutely l♡ve Glide for my longarm . For use on a domestic, l've only found it sews nicely as a bobbin thread. Glide is a synthetic that resembles machine embroidery thread...it's too slick, and untwists at the needle too much for use in general sewing/ piecing. Use it to quilt ( domestic or longarm), for fabulous lustrous quilting.
