I have one and love it. So far it seems to take every bobbin I use. I use Singer, Brother and Juki.

I have one and use it for my Bernina but it does not work for my Viking. Use a 40 or 50% off coupon at JoAnn's or someplace like that when you do buy it :)

I have one of the original sidewinders. It didn't seem to wind tight enough so I didn't use it until someone on here said that it would wind tightly when you used the electric and not the battery. They were absolutely right. I now wind up bobbins for my Featherweight in the basic colors I use for piecing and never have to stop while sewing.

I've also been thinking of getting a side winder for my Husqvarna Emerald 118. Can anyone tell me is it compatible with my machine? Thanks in advance for your help.

Which bobbins does it use? The list is of bobbin types not machines. I will try to help if you can tell me which bobbin you use. (I am referring to the question about the Emerald.)

Yes, I have one, and I use it to wind the bobbins for my piecing machine. I use pre-wounds in my BabyLock quilter on the frame. Too much trouble to unhook stuff to wind bobbins on it.
