I have a micro vacuum that attaches to my hose, tho I just use either a paint brush or q-tip to get the dust bunnies out.

I use the pressurized air cans that are for computer keyboards. Hadn't cleaned mine out in a while and was there a bunch of stuff in there !

I picked up a little vac for computers at Fry's electronics, has a very small nozzle that lets me get right down into my machine. Oh yes, and I do use it on my computer from time to time.

Might be wise not to use that air can again.....it blows pressure too strong and puts dust and fabric fibers where repairmen cannot remove....or at least that is what I have been told. And, if you have a computerized machine, really take care.

The very first thing they told me about my machine was not to use compressed air.

While at a quilting show, I think Paducah, I bought a sweeper attachment that hooks right on to the edge of your vacuum hose and it has a small nozzle with a brush on it and you can get into small places with it. It is just called Mini attachment for all vacuums. I think if you google it you can find it. It will get into small places.

I do embroidery along with cutwork needles so I have to vacumn mine out. I got attachments for about 10 at julianeedles.com. They attach to my wand on my vacumn. Don't use the canned air, not only can you embed the lint into your machine when the air turns cold you can damage your components.

I have the little attachment set that you use with your regular vacuum. It works great!
