Made in China? No, thanks!

I just use a regular ironing board and hubby made a 6 ft. x 2ft top to fit over it. Really easy and very cheap. Went to the scrap pile at home depot and the worker found everything we needed and it came to $1.33. They were going to throw away the plywood so I was sure glad I saw it. I covered it with insulbrite then warm & natural and topped with muslin. Love it.....

With my husbands help, I made a 22X58 inch ironing board. Husband screwed the board to a very sturdy extra large ironing board that had been my mother's. I put flannel, fleece and the silver ironing material over it. I have had it for over 2 years now and it works wonderfully. I now have it up against my cutting table at same height, and it extends my work surface.

I WILL NOT pay $80 for an ironing board unless I knew it would hold up for many years, I am rough on them because I move them around a lot.

I'll keep my board in my sewing room - it's an old single panel door that I picked up for free, covered with two layers of batting (one package) and then a layer of pillow ticking.
It's mounted on the wall on hinges so when I'm not using it, it folds up against the wall. When it's down, it rests on my son's air hockey table.

Won't get my money.

I'd read the reviews on the site you provided and stay away!

Sounds too complicated for me. I just use one of those small ones and put it on top of the dryer works good.
