I guess my block needs some refinement. It probably needs to be constructed using more half square triangles or flying geese. Sorry about the premature cutting directions post. If anyone wants an updated version, please let me know, but I probably won't post another until I actually construct a block.

I would love to have an updated version. I have EQ 6 but would never attempt to try to make this block.

Thanks.

Maybe a Deb Tucker pattern?

That is a Craftsy pattern by Debbie Caffrey called Quilter's Quandary. There is a kit you can purchase with the pattern.Debbie Caffrey has some very good classes on Craftsy as well. She drafts patterns and has efficient ways of cutting fabric and constructing blocks. You can learn a great deal from her.

Great to know. It is a great pattern and makes a beautiful quilt. I will definitely be checking it out.

Thank you so much. Just went to Craftsy and purchased the kit to make this quilt. Love it!

I would make all the star points with Boston Blocks. They are all the same, so would go fast. Then put them together with HST, squares and triangle side pieces.
