Barb, I just realized you drew the block in your EQ7, not found it. Thats really neat that you can do something like that. FOr the arrow block, does it look like 2 flying geese units or would you put them together differently. Thanks again for
re-creating it ! Bee |

re-creating it ! Bee A little added note....About a year ago, I decided it was time to learn how to use EQ, after all I had bought 5, then 6 and now 7 and still couldn't do a block. Then I figured out that I had to know block construction to be able to draw a block. I could already could see simple block designs, but working with EQ has really upped my ability. |
Barb, it looks like fun. thank you again for charting it out, I'll refer to your block because it makes the most sense of the ones that Ive seen.

You can also make them by snowballing two corners of each rectangles. Which ever is the easiest for you to make them.

I assume you are asking about how to make the pink chevron blocks... (the nine patches are easy enough). Bonnie Hunter's latest mystery quilt has those blocks in it. For those pink chevrons you would put two together... Check out the block here:
http://quiltville.blogspot.com/2014/...on-part-2.html She gives several ways to make them. You'll have to make some with the center diamond leaning left, and some leaning right, and sew them together to make that chevron block. |
