It is very simple. All the fabric is cut into 2.5 inch strips by 6.5 inches. I can't give you the ratio but I think I remember the center strip needs at least 2.5 yards to make a decent size quilt.
Cut the centers to size only and leave the other fabric in strips.
As you sew the fabric to the center piece you trim each out piece to length. In fact you can strip piece this as a continuous line cutting it apart at the end.
After the two sides are sewn attach top and bottom.

Hope that helps.

Hello MaryKay ~
I knew I had seen it on the board somewhere and I was hoping that whoever had posted it would see this post. Again, to my eye lovely colorway and of course beautiful quilting! Thank-you for the insight of sewing in strips, of course that would make this an even easier quilt to make!

Hi Lynda!

Thank-you Lady for taking the time to go to your EQ and measurements for cutting the pieces. The EQ software amazes me, however I guess I don't want or need to learn a new thing, I struggle with quilting and at my age I guess, I don't need anymore struggles. :0) Thanks so much Lady!!!

Someone here posted their lovely quilt and I failed to mark the thread apparently as I cannot find the original thread. The poster gave general directions on how to replicate her quilt. I would really like to make a quick quilt, as I've been working on a complicated quilt and I need something less so.

I recently downloaded this quilt as a free downloadable pattern on Craftsy.

Whoops. The pattern looks like Epary's quilt design.

Penny, I love this idea of making a3 strip set then cutting it apart! Sounds like it'd go much quicker! Thanks god the idea!!!
