My walmart here used to sell them, but it has been a few months since I have seen them there.

Just to let you know, if you purchase $21. dollars worth of stuff at Nancy notions, you get 21 machine needles for free, that is good till 6/17 and the code you need to use is 115231-0611, I was sent an email about this, and its for schmetz and maybe others.

Yes, WM carries Schmetz, 5 pkg. needles in Universal & Embroidery. Just bought a pkg. for $2.97!

Our WM in Greenville, and Travelers Rest, SC carry them.

i went to this website but wasn't sure what kind of needle to get. They all say embroidery needles. Which needles do you get?

I am not an expert, but I think that it all depends on the type of sewing you are doing and also the weight and type of fabric.
