Mine helps by doing the dishes and laundry when I'm in the midst of a project. He helps by suggesting we take a trip to Lancaster to look at fabric. He helps by never mentioning the threads all over everything and the cutting mat that has become a fixture on the kitchen table. He helps by oohing and aahing at everything - even just washed fabric. And by never -ever- saying I spend too much on fabric!

My husband like to go fabric shopping with me. He's great at picking out fabrics. Then he heads over to the Wilton Cake Decorating supply section. That's his thing and he's quite good at it!

Once I have everything cut out and begin to lay it out before piecing I always have my DH look at the pattern. He ususally comes up with some great ideas and designs for my scrappy quilts.

My DH will do anything I need help with. He keeps my machines running smoothly, he cuts, he sews, he discusses layouts and color combinations, he builds stuff that I want (design wall, etc.) and whatever else would make me happy! I love and appreciate him so much! :D

My DH will go to quilt shops and quilt shows with me, but that's where he draws the line! He does help with the housework though, which gives me more time to work on my projects.

My sweet DH helps with design, math, driving to purchase quilting supplies, cooking, dishes, vacuuming, cleaning bathrooms, and so much more. Yesterday he drove me over 200 miles round trip to once, again take my machine to the Pfaff serviceman. We did that drive last month, also. There wasn't a word of complaint out of him. He jsut called it one of our "day trips." This morning he took on the zigzaging of new fabrics before I prewash my fabrics. I have severe chemical sensitivities and many allergies so I have to prewash and he agreed that I should zigzag fabrics before washing to eliminate all of the raveling issues. He told me I am worth it. I Love, Love, Love my man.
