Mine will give me an opinion when I ask him, and he is usually right on with it. Otherwise, he helps by cooking, cleaning and doing laundry.
His biggest help tho, is in never complaining when I use up all my spoons in the sewing room and have to spend the rest of my day curled up with the heating pads. He never, ever makes me feel guilty or acts like he feels neglected. He just takes over dinner and makes sure we both have something to eat. He understands how important the quilting is to me, and how necessary it is that I am able to feel productive and useful. |
My DH built my cutting table which I love. He also made a light box for me, a quilting surround for my sewing machine, and even a little box to keep my foot from creeping away. And frequently when I'm "lost" in my sewing room, tantalizing aromas let me know he's making dinner! Now if I could just convince him to try accurate cutting for me.....
Oh yeah, he also built my ironing center with storage underneath, and shelves for my stash! He's a keeper! |

My husband helps me by staying out of my way. LOL

Mine takes me shopping. Even suggests that I go to a quilt store. He reads in the car while I shop.

He helps me by giving me money to purchase all my fabric and accessories for my quilting!!And telling me how beautiful every thing is!

Mine is good at admiring my finished quilts and helping me with color. He is a wonderful cook too.

My Dh does not help me as he ia allmost totaly blind now.
He helps me by staying out of the room and out of my way while I am sewing |
My DH helps me with my quilts. He will go to the LQS with me to pick out fabrics. Helps me sew. He built me a bigger table so that I could have room for 2 sewing machines. Praises my work. I think he's a keeper.
