After she is finished with the baking, she will need a cup of coffee to enjoy it. How about an apron with some of these wonderful fabrics with a MUG for a pocket.

Cakes? Pies? Breads? Cookies? There are a lot of food fabrics. Maybe a Warm Wishes with the large squares in food fabrics and the 3 bar frames in 'golden crust tonals" "cherry reds tonals" and "off white tonals"

Some more food and baking related fabrics. |
You could do a strip quilt with a large applique cake in the center and cookies scattered around.

here is a "cupcake" quilt or use it as a centerpiece and branch out!

There are so many cooking themed fabrics out there. There is a designer on Craftsy that goes by the name of A la Mode and she has a pattern for an apron in three styles. The one shown on the site is a full sweeping waist apron and done in cooking fabric would be super cute. The pattern is $9, but you get three styles to make and her patterns are clear and well done. Just a thought.

Anyone know of a bakery design, or something to do with bakeing. I'm not sure when, and if he will decide, what he wants to do. If anyone, gives me some kind of ideal.I'll get with him, and go from there. Thanks to everyone, who gets back with me. Take care Don-isewman

I love to create quilts that have personal meaning. I looked up some names of quilt blocks and found several with food or cooking themes. One is called "cake stand". Quilt a pretty block pattern. Perhaps a quilt made with her favorite colors in plain blocks and some cake stand blocks. Maybe some other block patterns that represent other things she loves or does. Here are some other names of blocks I found - broken dishes, corn and beans, fruit basket, ice cream bowl, lady fingers, orange peel, pickle dish and sugar bowl.

FabShopHop.com had patterns for pies and cupcakes. Using the fabric line you choose, these can be quite pretty.
