I think fuseing/applique cupcakes and cakes would be beautiful!

MeandMySisterDesigns.com has a quilt pattern where each block is a stack of cupcakes. The ptern is called "Let Them Eat Cupcakes." Might be appropriate.

If your sewing machine does machine embroidery, Anita Goodesign has a quilt-in-the-hoop design called "Indulgence". It is appliqued bakery items on quilt blocks - all done in the hoop. Quick and easy. Just sew completed quilt blocks together and you're done.

Along with the fabshop hop pies and pie slice patterns the cup cakes, cake slices, and even a doughnut or two appliqued would be great and finish off with the cup of steaming coffee as mentioned earlier. Have fun with this one and be sure to post the final.
