The world could use more like you. That is the true spirit of Christmas :)

You are a wonderful person to do that. May you have a happy holiday season.

That is so increadibly sweet. I have a shelter near my home too. I've brought them home baked goodies in the past but I really love your idea. I think I'm going to 'steal' it and try this next year. You are a saint! Thanks for sharing.

What a beautiful blessing you are! You have touched many lives and each child and woman who receives one of these will be so full of joy at receiving a beautiful comfort.
Thank you for sharing.

What a great way to give at Christmas. I think I will work on quilts this year, using the flannel I got on sale at Joann's on Black Friday. I bought enough to make quite a few quilts. What size did you make? I'm new and want to make the easiest most economical quilts I can. I don't know how to actually quilt, so I will probably have to tie. Don't know how to do that either but will figure out. If you have any good advise it would be appreciated. What about ragged, would that be good.

I'm sure that Blankie is going to be something each child treasures. What an amazingly wonderful gift.

I have only delivered quilts once before and was met with such non-appreciation I was very hurt. I delivered 12 quilts and the gal didn't even look at what I was donating nor ask my name before she took them to the back room. Sometimes I never knew where my donation quilts went after giving them to the guild either. Giving to this shelter was such a positive experience, I can't wait to get started on next year's!

Know what you mean. I gave 50 baby quilts to a friend for newborns. I found out later that her coworkers went thru the quilts and one girl took a quilt with a cat print because 'her cat would just love it". No more donations there. I make quilts for babies not for cats!

May G-d bless you dear sweet lady for such a wonderful contribution. I am sure those momas and little children really appreciated it. It does feel good to give, but even better when you know they appreciate it.
