(Iron count, now I have 4.)

What fun! It's like a new bride opening the cans of food with the outside wrappers removed. Bet Dad didn't know what a fun-filled surprise party he was preparing for you.

This is so funny, but I just read your post to my DH and he said it all made perfect sense to him. The fabric makes perfect packing material for those more precious items like green beans, beer and cat toys, etc.

You might be right. My older daughter, who is very smart, used to screw up any household task I asked her to do. She knew how to do every one of the things I asked her, but she didn't want to do any of them. So she always screwed up.
I called it 'planned incompetence'. She figured if she did something wrong often enough, eventually I would stop asking her to do it. She really didn't know her mother very well...the word stubborn was invented for me.
