Between basting spray, pins, rotary cutters, hot irons, sharp sewing machine needles going 1000 mph, it's a wonder there's a quilter around without some major injury!!

Started laughing as soon as I read the title (before opening the post). I could just picture it in my head! That's why I don't use spray baste--I'm too messy! :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol: :lol:

That's why I wear closed-toed shoes to quilt class. Most ladies wear sandals and flip-flops in the summer. I dread the thought of someone dropping their rotary cutter, or even a pair of scissors! I guess it comes from working in a lab.
