I really love the 3d look you are getting out of both, but the smaller ones pop more for me. Either way, your color slections are spot on.

For some strange reason, I think the smaller center makes the cube more "mysterious". Now, is that fanciful, or what???

I like the large centers but you can mix and match for an interesting quilt
