Doesn't Judy Niemeyer have a paper-pieced pattern out for the Double Wedding Ring? I think if I was going to do it, I'd take the easy way out and use a paper-pieced pattern. Of course, you should really enjoy doing paper-piecing if you're going to do it that way. Since I love to paper-piece, that's definitely the way to go

Can you tell me the name and/or where I can get the Patricia Burns book you are talking about for the DWR Quilt? That sounds like a great one!

This is beautiful! Definitely one I want to do!

Not sure I want to do paper piecing, but where can I find Judy Niemeyer's pattern for the DWR anyway?
|
I found the picture with the pattern at www.mybluebamboo.com. They have pages and pages of Judy Niemeyer patterns... Enjoy!

THANK YOU!

Go to the web address above and you'll see Simplicity's new set of templets to make a DWR. I found mine at JoAnn's with a coupon. It's under $20. It came with good instructions how to use. Not sure when I'll get around to making one tho. |
THANK YOU! The pattern/templates pkg. is $15.99 at Joann's. Will order it.

I used the quiltsmart foundations in making a small dwr and it was very easy. It is a little unconvetional you make tubes then top stitch them to your foundation - which becomes the center of the circles.
