Eleanor Burns' book is called egg money quilts. You can get it for less $ at amazon. I got mine at the book store tho.

I trien Neymires but it was too difficult for me.

I would suggest getting the DWR pattern from Shar Jorgensen of Quilting from the Heartland. She presents several options on the arcs and her method is easy to follow. The pattern also includes the templates.

Thanks for the info on Shar Jorgenson. I will look into it.

You might want to try John Flynn's website. I bought templates from him and a book, though haven't used them yet. The way you do it is to sew normal pieces together straight, then there's some technique to sew parts of each piece at an angle and use the template to make them the right shapes... I can't explain it well but it looks much easier than anything I've seen before.

Or, if you like English Paper Piecing, they have pieces for DWR

John Flynn developed and "easy" pattern for the Double Wedding Ring and another quilter created a paperpieced "easy" pattern for it. Both were on Alex Anderson's show some years back.

I have made the double wedding ring and it takes a while I used the templates from Shar Jorgenson Cutting from the templates was a lot easier. I think the one from Eleanor Burns is fusible but not sure Hope that helps.

Sandra, I used the Elenor Burns method. You can find it here http://www.quiltinaday.com/shoponlin...lay.asp?i=2052
