I'm getting overwhelmed with fabric, tools, patterns, quilt room space, and most of all the unfinished projects that I want to do!!!
So I'm thinking of downsizing to fewer and smaller projects.
Part of my problem is that I just can't cope with putting large projects together any more.
Does anybody have suggestions and or thoughts about this?

You can always do like others and sell them in the classifieds section. I am sure you won't have a whole lot of trouble selling them..

Do what you need to do to be happy. There are plenty of people who will purchase your extra items that you do not want and people who enjoy finishing UFO's of other people. I find it easier to finish other people's projects than mine. I know it doesn't make sense, but oh well!

Lap quilts and wall hangings are a fun and easy to manage size :D:D:D
You should do what you have fun and feel comfortable with

I think that I would put some of the things that you are considering downsizing into totes and in the garage for a little while. When you finish "shopping" through the totes in a few months for the things that you need, then dispose of them. Too many times I find myself buying things that I disposed of in my "grand clean-up" of closets, etc., 2 years ago!

Farmer Girls idea is a good one....then if prices go up you wont have to buy lots more fabric!

Good luck with your downsizing. Enjoy your quilting.

When I get to feeling overwhelmed, I usually make a to do list with small and large projects. I try to only keep about 10 things on it at once. Then as I cross things off, I add items too. The to do list can be comprised of whole projects like pillowcases for neice or steps such as put together 3 blocks from a UFO. This helps me to focus and get some things done. My problem is I can't bear to part with anything!
