I'm thinking of buying a pair of duckbill scissors at the Quilt and Craft Show down in Brisbane tomorrow. Have any of you used them, and are they worth buying, or am I better to buy a pair of curved scissors for my applique?

Sorry I haven't tried applique yet so I'm not any help.

Buy a pair. I love mine and use it for more than applique. Mine makes the nicest smooth cutting edge.

Use mine all the time. They are great!

I just use my regular and curved scissors... :D:D:D

Sure don't regret get mine either.

I use both. The duck bill helps with the larger areas while the smaller curved scissors can get in the teeniest of areas.
