An early Birthday Present to myself

Saw this at JoAnn's yesterday and went back today to get it with a coupon as a treat to myself for my upcoming birthday.

Does anyone else have one of these, if so how do you like it?

the link above says it takes reqular blades; maybe try a new blade to see if that helps first. It has a lot of good reviews on the link above.

I just looked it up on Amazon and it has very good reviews on it there as well. I could not find it on JoAnn's web to find out the price they are asking, but since I do have a $25.00 GC from Amazon I will have to give this a thought.

I have the original Fiskars fabric strip cutter. It uses a rotary blade and is attached to a 24" long acrylic ruler. They aren't made anymore. It was an expensive notion at the time, $59.00 and didn't sell that many. Hancocks only had two in stock when they first came out. I had both in my cart and gave one to a lady who drove two hours to Hancocks just to buy one. (no internet shopping then). I remember the other shoppers in line getting all bug eyed at the price and thought we were nuts to buy a ruler for $60. LOL. I get offers all the time to sell mine, the last offer was for $200. The last one I saw on Ebay sold for $122.00 and it was very used.
