Where can I buy these books.
Amazon.com! But try the library first!
I got the whole series from amazon.
I am going to check my library, I want to read them too!
Barnes and Noble. And, there are a few that have been compiled into one big book...like with 3 of the books in it.
They are so popular. My library only carries a few. And the used book stores carry them . This is a wonderful authur. Enjoy. It will make you want to make all the quilts to go along with them. There is a Elm Creek Quilt book too. Happy reading.
Really?? I have a small library too, so I better call ahead and see first!
I went to ablis used books ... same as amazon.. but even getting them say for 99 cents each the shipping is sooooooooo out of place! I found one yesterday at goodwill .. the new years quilt... I too would like to acquire them and may over time.
Used book stores is where I found mine.
If any of you have a Kindle they are available as Kindle books too! That's how I got mine instantly without having to wait or go anywhere.
You can register to get them for free on www.paperbackswap.com
I'm reading these books too. The local library has them. My daughter studied at Penn State and we stayed in State College for 3 months.
I want my Sister to take me up to Madison to the Half price bookstore, maybe they would have them.
I just finished the 9th one from our library. Love them.
I have read all the books so far. If your library does not have them they can get them for you! Just get with the librarian and she can print out the list of books and get them for you. Usually they order 3 at a time. They borrow them from other libraries for you!!! It's a sweet deal!!
I buy them used on Amazon or ebay, but found 5 at a yard sale for 50 cents each.

I buy mine used online from Better World Books or Half Price Books.
I just ordered the whole series - I am working on the 4th book - loving them.
I've gotten most of mine at the library and the fill ins in garage sales or goodwill. I've even gotten recorded versions from the library. Nice to listen to in the car. Or maybe when quilting!
Got mine at the Library but I keep an eye open for them at yard sales, etc. They are keepers!

I hope this will help anyone who thinks halfway like me: 1. The Quilter's Apprentice - 1999 2. Round Robin - 2000 3. Cross Country Quilters - 2001 4. The Runaway Quilt - 2002 5. The Quilter's Legacy - 2003 6. The Master Quilter - 2004 7. The Sugar CAmp Quilt - 2005 8. The Christmas Quilt - 2005 9. The Circle of Quilters - 2006 10. The Quilter's Homecoming - 2007 11. The New Years Quilt - 2007 12. Winding Ways Quilt - 2008 13. The Lost Quilter - 2009 14. A Quilter's Holiday - 1009 15. The Aloha Quilt - 2010 Nos. 4-14 come together. Won't say a word about it. But, for what it is worth, I read the books in order and it kept the whole family together to totally understand it. I believe No. 6 has the quilting book for the Wedding Quilt book. I would love to make that quilt. Enjoy. Edie |

Edie you are wonderful for providing the list, I highly recommend reading them in order. |
I belonged to a writers group and I actually won a prize in a contest with a book review on the Elm Creek Quilters trilogy.
I love these too don't own any but I am reading The Lost Quilter now!
Try half.com if you buy a couple books from same person you save on shipping.
Yes, your library should have them and they are a fun and easy read but definitely read them in order, then you'll know who everybody is and why they're doing what they're doing.
Just finished listening to The Aloha Quilt. I have gotten them from my library through their inter-library loan program. "Reading" them in order is very important to keep the characters growing with the story.
Never heard of these books. Can you tell me about them?
I've borrowed a few of the first ones and then bought some at Half Price Books and Amazon -
Great books !! |
I've listened to several of them, available online from Audible.com. Kinda pricey if you don't have a membership (I used to have a membership because audio books saved my sanity with 2 hours of commuting every day). Can't remember the person who reads the books, but she's very good. Hearing the voices makes me feel more like I know the characters.
Hi...Did you mean Abe's Books? If so, at the top of their website they have lots of bookstores in their system that have FREE shipping anywhere in the continental USA, however, on some books, seems like their price is the same or more than the ones that charge for shipping.
Our library has the entire series, but you can get them at Books a Million in-store & on line.
I've read and have all of these books as well. They are a wonderful series.
The Runaway Quilt is the book to read before The Lost Quilter. It refers to the same person, Joanna! Wonderful stories. Edie
i get them fromthe library and get them on cd's so i can listen while I work on my longarm or am sewing, it's easy to listen and not as distracting as tv.
