I purchased rayon thread for my embroidery machine when I first got it, mainly because that was what I could find. I found I had many problems with the thread shredding. That was before I discovered the titanium needles, so it might be better now, but I threw out the rayon thread that I had because I don't really want to take a chance. What the embroidery machine can stitch in 30 minutes can take 6 hours to pick out.... ask me how I know :(
