EQ 7 help please

1 Attachment(s)
Hello everyone,

I am hoping to get some help (I always do!!!)

I have done the pattern for this quilt in EQ 7

What I am trying to do now is figure out how to select it in blocks so I know the sizes, and can print paper pieces for my flying geese

I want to be able to print it out so I can PP it ... but can't figure out how

does anyone know what I am talking about LOL or have I lost you?

Thanks in advance if you know what I mean, and have some ideas for me.

Marion

You can select the block size in the "print" dialog. Go to the block, click print paper piece, there will be a section that specifies block size.

Does that answer your question? I wasn't sure I understood what you're asking....

From the Block worktable, click the printer, and choose "Foundation Pattern".

I have had EQ7 for a few years, I am hoping that I learn to use it before I die ( I'm 61) . Any hope for me?! What tutorials are best?

there is a sticky post on EQ 7 ... you will likely find more info there!

Have you gone through the built in lessons? They are under the Help Tab. I found these really helpful when I was starting. Also there are some Patti Anderson book marked down on the EQ site for EQ7. I have the Pieced Drawing book which I think is excellent but do not own the others

There's hope, xeno! I am 72, have had EQ7 for at least five years, and am finally figuring out how to use it. What helped me finally get started was signing up for "Catch the Waves", a series of free video tutorials:
https://www.onpointquilter.com/blog/...-quilt-newbies

She sends a link each day for 14 days to your email address. Each video tutorial is about 10 minutes. I was able to stop and start, rewind, re-watch, etc. to be able to reproduce what she was going in the videos. By the time I was finished, I could create simple quilt patterns to use as guides for myself.

If you get stuck, a good place to post your question is in this newly started thread on the QB:
