I started using years ago. And really enjoyed it. Had EQ5 and was going to update. Found out you cannot update EQ5 to 7 so just purchased 7. Lots of different things in 7. Dont know if I could sell my EQ 5 or not, will check. If so, will let you know if you are interested.

I have EQ7 and love it. I use it all the time for almost every project. I don't find it at all hard to use. I would not buy an earlier version. 6 was a huge improvement over 5, and 7 has a better installation policy. Once you start using it you will want to keep up with the latest version.

I have both, each has it's benefits.

I like quiltpro for designing my own blocks and EQ for their block inventory. Monthly they give you fabric downloads which QP does not.

I gave myself EQ6 for Christmas, and I love it! It's like a coloring book for quilters. But it is addicting once you get the hang of it...spend WAY too much time playing with patterns and fabrics. :lol:

I have just ordered EQ7 and am very excited about the possibilities. That being said, check for computer requirements when searching to buy the software. Some only run on Vista or Windows 7, not XP or Mac's...

I have EQ 6 and I love it. I plan on upgrading to EQ 7 after I get enough money saved up to buy it.
