That's ok until I joined the board a year ago last March I had never heard the term. I called them Half Squares. No triangle on there just Half Squares. So people would be confused when I called them that. I had to unlearn that habit and learn to call them HSTs. I still have them listed on my website as Half Squares!! I will get around to changing it sometime soon!

I'm self taught never took a class in 35 yrs other than shows on TV and books so I made up the names of things on my own.

Thanks for the compliment but everyone has to start somewhere Bridgette! I started because I was bored with three little ones at home and I was a stay at home wife. I was tired of 4 walls and nothing to do but watch tv and read. My DHs comment at the time was you have three kids to talk to! Yeah right! They were 3 4 and 5 at the time! Some scintallating conversations!! LOL So I decided to learn to quilt. i got a book through the mail and watched tv quilt shows. Otherwise it was trial and error. It is now my passion in life after my grands!!! LOL My efforts in the first few years weren't all that great! I cringe now thinking that the things I made back then probably fell apart!! LOL

I think the upgrade from EQ5 to 7 is a little more spendy than $58, but you can check it out on their website :D:D:D

I wanna get this thing mastered b/4 I move on! WOW! This is fun!

From what they've said EQ6 is easier to learn than 5 and 7 is easier than 6!! ;-)

You are so welcome, Rhonda. LOL! I remember those "scintillating conversations", they went something like, *singing* "I love you, you love me .... " Well, I for one am glad you started. Mahalo (thank you) for your contributions, I learn a LOT here and mostly the friendliness helps so much!

WOW! Well, if that's the case then what, I'm 2 levels ahead of the game by starting at 5 or do I have that backwards?
