I really appreciate this thread. I have EQ7 and didn't know how to download the fabrics. I will try some of these tips tomorrow. It's getting a little late here.

Try this:

Here is the EQ section on the QB which also includes my 23 EQ lessons. I included PDFs of them also for downloading.

Thank you Rhonda for reminding me of your lessons. I did see the lesson on scanning fabrics which is similar to importing fabrics from quilting companies. The problem I am having is that once I have them in Import Results , opened and copied, I want to put them in My Library. I have to name the fabric group and I get the message that my name is not valid. Not really sure what the problem is.

you're in EQ6 right? I'll see if I can do it in mine.
sorry I didn't get it to work either. The only thing I can say is I know I get that message in EQ5 and I was told that because it is old the newer technology doesn't always support the technology in EQ5. So it may be the same thing in EQ6. it may be something that doesnt' work because it is older technology. sometimes I can find a way around the problem but not sure I can find a solution for this. but I'll keep trying. |
Thank you Rhonda I am on EQ6 and I hope you can figure it out.

H Rhonda,
I called EQ6 tech support this morning and they helped me figure out the problem. It seems when I was trying different things I lost a file in documents called MyEQ6. The tech person helped me to do a new file with that name and then once that was set up, I was able to download fabric collections into My Library. |
I'm glad you got it figured out. I have called them before and they are really great at helping you.
