I have EQ5 and never learned to use it. I don't think it is user friendly at all.

Bellaboo, thanks for the links. Maybe we should have an EQ7 monthly challenge to get us motivated. So like me to spend the money (that I don't have) and sit it on the shelf waiting for the Right Time to use it. I bought it as all of you did because I thought it would be very helpful. Let's motivate each other!!!
Thanks again for the links! |
I just got EQ7 yesterday at 40% off at my LQS. I do have 4 and5 and have played with them and designed a quilt...I plan to get serious with this one and really study...

No wonder I had a problem. Did not read the instructions. Thanks for all the help on this board. Somebody mentioned Lessons and when I checked it out it all makes sense. I printed out some lessons and am having a ball. Click Start > Program Files > Electric Quilt > EQ7 > Print PDF Lessons.

Got EQ7, Started mousing around in it. Couldn't figure out too much. Soo I'm going to read the book, take the tuts, play then we'll see if I can create.

I've done the same thing - I need to take the time to play with it more - if I stayed off this board I'd probably know EQ backwards & forwards by now!

Thanks for posting this I have been wondering about EQ7.
I think I am in "need" of one. |
