You really got a bargain. I especially like that you got her quilt. Obviously, her family didn't appreciate the legacy they had. I know you will treasure it. I am blessed to feel that my kids would fight to the end to keep my quilts even if they didn't like them. I don't think they would every sell them or give them away.

I too, am excited that you got a great deal, but, as a former teacher, it saddens me that the retired teacher did not receive her quilt her fellow co-workers signed. That would have meant the world to me.
