Oh yes I agree Idont know how many things you can put in bookmarks but I have proof that it is quite a lot.

No, you are not weird, I to would like to make everything also, and always hoping to get the patterns, there are soooo many wonderful and talented people on this board, i learn a lot. You get so many opinions and different choices of how to do things. This is such a fabulous site, and i am so grateful i found this site with all these helpful people.

We are all too critical of ourselves. Just keep saying to ourselves "God didn't make it I did" I bet the ones we think are perfect, the person who posted the picture thinks there are all kinds of errors in theirs. LOL Unless they are made for judgeing, who cares. They are a handmade quilt or whatever and there should be at least one goof in them. We are supposed to have fun. Keep plugging away at the piles of patterns girls. At least we will never be bored. Tee HEEE!!!!

Oh, yes. I want to make them all. But then I'd have to go buy more fabric - my stash just doesn't match very well.

Sure you're weird--that's why you're here with the rest of us nuts! What other hobby involves taking something already beautiful, cutting it up into little pieces, and then putting it back together again?

It's of no use to fight the insantity, so revel in it!

Whoever can look at all these beautiful quilts and resist the need (yes I said need) to made them is a lot stronger than I.

I used to feel exactly the same way after going to quilt shows, that my work would just never compare. And then one day I said to heck with it, I'm going to try one of those "hard" patterns. And you know what, none of them are that hard. Remember, all you're ever doing is sewing a 1/4" seam--it's not like we're putting in zippers or something!

Pick something you think is beyond your level and just jump in! You may make a few mistakes along the way, but that's what the seam ripper is for! I bet you'll surprise yourself.

Between the quilt pictures and the ones for avatars I have enough ideas for this life and my next one too!

Yes, my bookmarks list is getting longer and longer....never will get them all done, but I'm trying. :)

I agree but my talent level is no where near that of the quilters who post here. I do hope someday to be able to do work that is half as nice as I have seen here! Thanks to you all for the inspiration!

I have books upon books of block & quilt designs. If I made one a month, I'd never be able to make them all (gonna' do my best, though).

If you're weird, then I'd have to admit I am, too. There are so many gorgeous quilts and good ideas, I can't keep up with them. What an inspiration it is, too! Thank you to all of you who post. (I don't have a digital camera yet, so can't post.)

I rarely want to replicate a quilt I see exactly, but I do get tons of inspiration and ideas! I think our creativity feeds off each other.

I don't know for certain but I have it on good authority that yes, we are all like you we just aren't all ready to face it yet... I keep waiting for my bookmark file to say sorry your capacity to Bookmark any more information has been met! LOL Relax your in good company and we do not disclose names to outside entities (namely spouces, children or professionals)
